After a bit of a hiatus, Basic Soul Unit is back with a strong 3 tracker doing what he does best: raw, and emotive deep cuts with enough heft for the dance floor. While always paying respect to the originators of Detroit and Chicago, Stuart Li adds his own colours to the palette. Having an ear to the ground and an open mind for multiple musical genres, his sounds often incorporate these influences both in sound and in rhythm.
